GRATING FUEL FILTER 6 - 8 mm
Reference: 41130
This filter is polarized, so fuel input must be connected to "IN - Entrata" marked fitting.
The characteristics of an aviation gasoline filter should be as follows:
- Transparent: To inspect the interior and replace or clean when there are impurities.
- Resistant: Must be able to withstand any shock or vibration to appear in the pipe is installed as a result of resonances at different engine rpm or rattle when starting or stopping.
- Small: It should not have a large volume because the filters work always full of gasoline. The smaller lower its volume and therefore its full weight, favoring its integration into the gas tube and avoiding resistance problems described in the previous section.
- Adequate flow: A 100hp Rotax 912 engine usually burns between 15 and 19 l / h approx. The flow of the filter must be at least 2 to 3 times higher than a pressure of 0.2 bar.
