CO Detectors
CO detectors warn of the presence of carbon monoxide (CO) in the cabin. CO is an odorless deadly gas that is part of the exhaust gases. If for some reason part of the exhaust gases flows into the cabin, the pilot will lose consciousness without realizing it. One of the ways in which the exhaust gases can reach the cabin is through the heating system.
