Funnels

Refueling the aircraft is a sensitive issue. We must ensure fuel reaches the tank free of impurities. Impurities can be basically of 2 types: ■ Solid particles in suspension (sand, pollen, plant debris, metal ...) ■ Water The solid particles are incorporated into the fuel during handling, especially on the road between the station and the aircraft due to transferring from outside the bottles and impurities attached to the tools for refueling. The water is incorporated into the gasoline inevitably due to condensation in the tanks. The decanter has a funnel-mesh filter which does not allow the passage of water but allows passage of gas. If we fill the funnel of water nothing comes out the spout! This will separate the water contained in the gasoline that is housed at the bottom of the funnel together with the solid particles. The filter is designed to filter gasoline mixture, engine oil, diesel and kerosene.
