The turn coordinator is an instrument that tells us the rate of rotation of the aircraft in minutes per lap.
Rate of rotation means the time it takes to give a full 360 º and has no relation with the inclination we make this turn. The instrument will show the same reading if we turn in the plane or knife. To remember this aspect the instrument shows the label "No pitch information", which means that information is not the tilt.
Between marks with the letters "L" and "R" contains the label "2 MIN." This means that when the wingtip of the airplane symbol on the instrument is aligned with the trademark "L" we are making a left turn will take 2 minutes to complete the 360 º.
When the rotation is to the right information is given in the same way about the letter "R" as shown in the pic.
